Theresa Phillips on The Arts The Prophecy and Protocol.

 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Our ministry started in a simple farmhouse in a room what was formally called the North Edition. We opened our doors on August 1991 just one day after Theresa's father—Russell Forkins, one of St. Charles' most respected city leaders—passed on to the kingdom of heaven.

The North Edition was originally built to hold church services for the local farmhands and often had traveling Baptist ministers facilitating services there. It later became one of the first Baptist churches in the St. Charles region.

When Pastor Theresa received the call to minister, she opened up a wing and started a church there. Within a few short months, they had outgrown the facility and moved to an unprecedented storefront church in Geneva, Illinois. The North Edition was demolished by the law of eminent domain in 1996.

City Hall wanted to close down the church, but Pastor Theresa stood her ground and fought to keep her church alive in Geneva. When told that she may have to purchase the land for an exorbitant fee to use city parking, she met privately with the local building commissioner and established her knowledge of prejudices and extortion.

The commissioner's response was to make some quick changes. What he did not know was that Pastor Theresa had already contacted ACLJ and the Rutherford Institute, ready to fight for her church if necessary. The city relented during a City Council meeting in which legal assistance was accompanying her. During the meeting, she abruptly shouted, "If we outgrow this space, we move—it's as simple as that!" The City then finally approved of the small church.

After that meeting, the media approached Theresa about this issue. She answered all the questions with a calm response: "Come to church on Sunday morning around 11:00 a.m." That settled their queries. During their weekly church meeting, she and her congregants experienced numerous miracles and signs from God.

After that point, the ministry moved to a warehouse that held a few hundred people; there the Ministry Training Center was established and Pastor Theresa saw God's hand move. She was named Regional Director for the Independent Assemblies of God International (IAOGI) for the Midwest. She also became ordained as Bishop for Praise Ministries International.

Theresa then established a Center for Learning from Berean Bible College with College-accredited courses available for home study. One of the most desirable callings in her ministry is to see leaders birthed in excellence. In Pastor Theresa's own words: "My father once said if you want to make a good leader, make one better than yourself. I feel they are all better than me."

Pastor Theresa is an expert on Royal Protocol and practices it with her students and her church. To date, she has credentialed nearly 200 people from various backgrounds and denominations into the ministry. Pastor Theresa has been the director of National Day of Prayer in Geneva for 15 years, and she is also an official 9/11 remembrance contact.

Additionally, Theresa has served as The Geneva Ministerial President for 5 years and is currently Presidential Prayer Team Ambassador for the Chicago region.

This 9-11 Remembrance Video was made by Theresa Phillips and her Friend Lyn in Honor of all those who perished  and survived 9-11.  Robert Phillips Is Rev TSGT Robert PhillipsUSAF.. who braved the skies to protect our nation that day NEVER FORGET!!  NEVER

Pastor Theresa is a friend to pastors and is often asked to speak in other ministries. Ask her to say a few words to your ministry—you will be glad you did.

When asked what has been the best part of her ministry career so far, Theresa said, "Not only to see lives saved and changed, but to see Jesus enthroned again in the church and God's name brought back into the forefront of our city leaders". When asked if God is not already in the church, Pastor Theresa responded, "Yes He is, but we need more of Him. He is so much bigger and greater than we can imagine!"

"On Sept 11, 2001, our nation was attacked by terrorists. Our city voted to not say 'God Bless America' during a memorial service. That has been one of the most spiritually damaging things I have ever seen. It took my secretary and I three months to work with local pastors to come up with a mission statement for our city and our Christian Leaders."

The statement was this: "The Geneva Ministerial Association is a fellowship of local congregations from a broad variety of Christian traditions . . . serving the spiritual needs and common good of our community and welcoming the dialog and cooperation with other faith traditions."

On March 13, 2002, ministers of the Geneva Ministerial Association assembled together to establish a mission statement. Fifteen local pastors signed the document, and they all received a copy of it as well. Pastor Theresa and her secretary, Reverend Karen Tews, visited City Hall once again—this time to present the city leaders with their new mission statement. No other pastor would join her.

On Sept 11, 2006—five full years later—five ministers and leaders said 'God Bless America' five times in City Hall. This was how they commemorated the fifth anniversary of a dark day.

What's next for PMI GLory Institute ? Pastor Theresa sill moves forward in the callings of God and is still the Presiding Bishop of Praise Ministries. She recently formed The Encounter, a sub-ministry of PMI Glory Institute that reaches out to area churches to develop intimate relationships with Jesus.

We are dedicated to helping you Encounter the living God and be filled with His never-ending glory. The manifested presence of the living God, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is none other than Jesus Christ.

Pastor Theresa and her husband Robert have started an online publication called Chicago Prophetic Voice. This online publication is intended to help you see and hear the unseen and unheard realms of God as they are portrayed in the written scriptures of the Holy Bible.

We would love it if you would visit us on Sunday at 10:30 a.mm& Wednesdays at 7 Pm . to share in the celebration of Jesus, love, and grace for everyone. Thank you for standing by our side as we move onward with the Lord and spread the word of God throughout Kane County.

Sincerely,
The Staff of Praise Ministries International Glory Institute
